Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Love the pizza at this restaurant, pizza crust is just right, it didn't take long for us to get our pizza, kind of wish this was closer to me so I can come here more often

Solid pizza, crispy crust, quality cheese. Tough finding decent pizza down here, PDR is best around. 2 mediums, 1 topping, $19 out the door, just ask.

Just awful. We decided to get some take out and my wife wanted to give Pizza De Roma another try. I was skeptical, but it was convenient. I got spaghetti though, to avoid the burnt pizza crust. So guess what...burned garlic rolls! I mean BLACK!! I uploaded a picture this time. Also, the meatballs were obviously heated in the microwave. Like rubber and tasteless. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!

Gave them many chances, but the pizza is always undercooked or burned (overcooked). Their staff is very rude, arrogant can't-be-bothered attitude. They stay glued to watching the reality shows on the tv instead of paying attention to food quality and customer service. Dirty place too. Sad state of affairs. No more chances from me.

I used to order from PDR a lot in the past, tonight I tried them once more and my reasons have now refreshed to me as to why I had stopped and now will never go again. Sad as they used to be the best in the area. 1) girl who answers phone and at counter is rude and has an attitude, watched her lie to another customer on the phone, no emotion , just gave then them the tough its not my problem and you're gonna take this and like it. Not very pleasant. 2) NO place (not even over priced palm springs pizza) I've ever been charges 2 full items for a half n half, EXCEPT HERE now (nobody mentioned it, menu sure doesn't, they didn't use to) 3) was over charged for another item, lil' miss attitude didn't care, told me it WAS the going price despite all menus, flyers, pamphlets etc showing otherwise. See: lies part 1 4) quality has certainly gone down hill. The last pizzas I've gotten were either undercooked or burned (some were half under and half burned), wanted pizza A but was told they have pizza C ready from just canceled order and take discount/ pizza was seriously old and cold for $2 savings, football shaped (not even close to a circle, might be cool for Superbowl but not any other time), under topped only 22 pepperoni on an 18"(very dominos of them), watery mushy soaked dough (couldn't avoid the Noid yet again) I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture here. This has been happening ever since the older gentleman left. 5) lil' missy attitude forgets things, aside from just her manners, items you were overcharged for etc when you pickup order The kitchen itself was unkempt, not the first time it looked messy, nay, I say DIRTY. I sure wish they would go back to they're old way if being a decent quality pizza place. But now with certain staff member(s) attitude and a seemingly don't give a care about the quality attitude to boot I cant recommend PDR to anyone.

Pizza is OK, but you must eat it when fresh and hot, or the crust quickly turns to stiff rubber. I've never been to Rome, but assume this is typical style for the area, or cut a star off. Also, the service is as described below, and I had trouble parking to pick up a pizza one afternoon, seems all the delivery people would park somewhere else.

Watch out for roaches. Ordered spaghetti and meat balls one day. While I sat inside while they made the food I saw one roach on the wall, and one in the counter. That's when I cancelled my order and left. Ran by two young guts I think.

It was my first time trying this place and did so accompanied and under the suggestion of my friend who lives nearby their pizzeria. For $5 I was able to enjoy a decent slice of pepperoni pizza topped with onions and bell peppers and a Snapple! Perhaps could have done without as much toppings on one slice (but that is not a major issue). My friend ordered a medium cheese pizza and it was delicious (enjoyed that a wee bit more than mine actually). You know the pizza is good when you can't wait to have another slice when you get home, which I did ;) A bit out of the way from my house so I will keep you posted with any updates!

One of the worst pizza's I've ever had. Ordered a medium pie with mushrooms and olives to be delivered. It arrived in a timely manner and the delivery man was very pleasant. The pie looked overcooked and generally unappetizing; overly flat and lifeless almost as though it had been lying around for a good while. When I attemped to break it into slices it was almost as if it was made of rubber: tough and unyeilding. The consistency was extremely chewey with little flavor, and there was preciouse little tomato sauce detectable. The thin layer of cheese appeared well over-cooked also. Altogether a real disaster of a pizza. I returned the pie to the store shortly afterwards and was greeted by a very professional young lady who, however, refused to refund my $13.30 for said pie; instead offering me either store credit or to cook me a new one. Why would I want either?
